Image
Why We Visited Sutton My husband mentioned that there was a good bakery in Sutton, just outside Canberra, called Little Sutton Bakehouse, and suggested we try it as a short weekend drive. I expected Sutton to be a bit further away, but it turned out to be much closer than I thought. It’s an easy drive from Canberra and works perfectly as a relaxed half-day trip.

Silicone Lid Cleaning Tips: Remove Tough Red Stains Easily

Image
How I Removed Red Stains from Silicone Lids Using Baking Soda (Simple Method That Actually Works) Silicone kitchen tools are great, but they get stained very easily, especially by chilli oil, kimchi broth, curry, or anything with a strong red colour. I had the same problem with my PrepWorks Silicone Lids from Costco, and I almost threw them away. Cooma Food & Cafe Guide – Canberra Day Trip + Vietnamese Restaurant Review

Image
Where to Eat in Cooma – Vietnamese Food  Entrance of Cisne Vietnamese Cafe in Cooma  My husband has been talking about Bò Né ever since he tried it in Vietnam – that sizzling steak-and-egg breakfast (Bo Ne) served on a hot plate with a baguette. However, after returning to Australia, we struggled to find a place that actually serves this dish. Many Vietnamese restaurants exist, but very few offer Bò Né. Then we heard the Coffee shop  Cisne in Cooma had it on the menu, so we decided to take a weekend drive to check it out! Quiet, Hidden Vietnamese Restaurant in Cooma We almost drove past it because the sign was quite small. The tiny ONA Coffee logo on the wall was the only thing that caught our eye. The place is simple and small, maybe six tables inside and outside combined. Many locals and workers seemed to stop by for takeaway, giving the place a warm “local favourite” feeling. Inside Cisne – High ceilings and cozy atmosphere; seating is limited, as most customers opt...

Bredbo Christmas Barn Visit — Canberra Day Trip + Bredbo Pie Shop Review

Image
A Quick Stop on the Way to Cooma Bredbo Christmas Barn entrance On our way to Cooma, my husband mentioned that there’s a Christmas shop that only opens for half of the year. I’m not someone who’s really into Christmas decorations (and probably won’t be in the future), but I got out of the car thinking it would be a good chance to stretch a bit and look around.
